Fall

I give thanks that leaves don’t fall on the internet. I have enough to clean up in my writing to have to worry about leaves also. I mean, I didn’t give this website its name just for nothing! There is always a target in aim of what I do. It’s just that I need glasses to see the target anymore. I know, that is a personal problem not to bore you with but if I don’t tell you who am I going to tell?

Each morning , now, that I look out the dining room windows, I see nothing but leaves which means I have work to do. I don’t mind if I have to do this once every ten years but it just seems to have a schedule I don’t much care for. You know? Why do leaves have to fall every year around this time? Isn’t anyone happy where they are? Talk about undecided! The question is: why do they come out of the bark green then give up and turn red. Quitters!

I have no respect for quitters so, as these are my trees in my yard, why do I have to put up with the fall? I tried leaving a dust pan and broom under the trees but do you think they supervised themselves and cleaned up their own mess? Stupid trees. The oaks are definitely old enough to know better but NO-O-O! Still dropping them faster than a company can manufacture dust pans. There oughta be a law and not natures law. Nature has no compassion whatsoever!
